Jewelers Benchpin Forums

Is anyone else interested in developing new technologies for the jewelry industry?  I have played around with Google Glasses, various camera setups for our Jewelers, using Raspberry Pi's for various tasks ranging from file sharing to showroom music to IDS systems, as well as using all kinds of open source solutions for various systems/tasks.  It seems the jewelry industry as a whole is slow to change, and technology averse.  Anyone out there looking for ways to embrace tech in the jewelry shop?
