xTool F1 Ultra Laser Engraving S30V Stainless Steel Benchmade Knife

We recently had to engrave a Benchmade knife with S30V steel. I was scared to engrave this because I had not done an engraving on this type of steel and it was for someone else. I did not have a practice piece, and there are no preconfigured settings. After a lot of other testing on steels and leaning on both ChatGPT and Google Gemini, I went with:

50 mm/s
10 passes
300 lines per cm
Bi-Directional engraving mode
30 kHz
36 degree engraving angle at incremental

The following is the result, and both I and the Client were very happy.
