Registering Hangs at 90 Percent

I have a fairly powerful computer system, nothing crazy ... just nice, and after doing 65 scans, the Registering process tends to fly through until it hits 90%, then it hangs. When I check the processes, the computer is pushing 8GB to 57GB of RAM usage. If I set the processes to Real-time, it does seem to speed up activity and eventually it *may* complete the processes, but not always.
