Would CO2 work for engraving jewelry?

Typically speaking, CO2 lasers cut rubber, fiberglass, coated metals (the coating mostly), granite, fabric, glass, delrin, foam, paper, cork, cardboard, ceramic, aluminum, carbon fiber, acrylic, leather, wood, and metals such as steel. Where has CO2 struggle been ... with highly reflective metals. I recommend you look at fiber lasers over CO2 for jewelry.

figured as much based on the price difference. Thanks!
