Don't take this as a joke , but I have been making jewellery with this centrifugal ,,machine,, liesanaabc.jpg for 35 years . Great for small quantities - up to 200 grams. Larger quantities difficult . Also, I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the flame protects the matreial from oxygen ...

Could anyone recommend where to look for and buy crystal covers for this type of jewellery? I think glass would be too soft . Better quartz , or better still corundum glass . I've looked all over ... I would be very grateful for an enlightening answer.
